Portraits
We finally got around to getting professional photos taken of Bubble Toes this weekend (bad parents!). We used a local-ish photographer that I met at a baby expo we attended. It was a great experience and the photos turned out fantastic. If you live in the Bay Area and are looking for a photographer I would highly recommend Terri Loewenthal. She will go to any location you pick, or you can go to her studio, which is in her home in Oakland. She was very warm and welcoming and had some great props/toys for Bubble Toes to play with. We brought her bear, Farley, to help her feel comfortable which resulted in some really sweet pictures. Terri gave us a cd with all of our shots on it and printed out a couple, too. We can now print our own or have her print some more for us, which is really nice. It's great to be able to actually own the photos afterwards.

We were there about an hour all told. The photos themselves only took about 1/2 hour and then we played while the pictures were uploaded, cropped, played around with, printed and burned to cd. The total cost was $230 which seemed pretty good to me, but since this is the first time we've done this I actually have no idea of relative prices.
I love that dress, too. It's actually from Old Navy (I bought it a while ago), but I think it looks a little more unique than some of their usual stuff.
These shots are really adorable. Silly Smile is my favorite as well, and I would never have guessed her dress was Old Navy (also cute, but not as cute as her).
